Job Offer (SAPRAT-EPHE, Paris): Greek Manuscripts

The Equipe d'Accueil 4116-SAPRAT (EPHE) is looking to recruit a research assistant, within the scope of the Biblissima project, to go through Bernard de Montfaucon's works to study and identify all the Greek manuscripts listed therein.

Required Skills

  • PhD or equivalent foreign degree
  • advanced skills in Greek
  • previous work experience with Greek manuscripts and the history of  libraries
  • history of the transmission of texts
  • data modelling and databases

Conditions

Location: SAPRAT - EPHE offices, 75005 Paris; eventually also at the Bibliothèque nationale de France and other locations for occasional research missions
Start Date: 1st October 2014
Working Hours: 38.5 hours / week
Salary: IR2 level
