The e-CaM project aims to improve the quality of annotation—lemmas, parts of speech and morphology—of medieval Castilian texts and to facilitate the use of computational philology methods for Hispanic medieval studies. The aim is to build a corpus representative of the literary and documentary production of the thirteenth and twelfth centuries, tagged in accordance with a new annotation manual, based on commonly established and precisely documented standards, in order to ultimately produce the data needed to train new labeling models. The project is formed of specialists from different fields (linguistics, medieval literature, digital humanities).
