Courses and Events
Some partner projects funded by Biblissima organise summer courses, to be hosted by the project's lead institution (Médiathèque de Chartres in 2013, Médiathèque du Grand Troyes in 2014, Médiathèque d'Orléans, Bibliothèque d'Agglomération de Saint-Omer in 2015, Bibliothèque municipale d'Avranches in 2016, Médiathèque du Mans in 2017). Students from all over the world attend lectures and participate in practical sessions that give them hands-on experience with early primary source documents. These summer courses aim to promote lasting exchanges between cultural heritage institutions and research structures, as well as cultivating a pool of early-career researchers in the field of the history of texts.
Other training sessions may occasionally be organised with Biblissima's support, generally in cooperation with institutions such as the BnF (session on data modelling, organised with the Department of Information bibliographique et numérique) or the IRHT (COST Training School in 2014).
